This funding is part of the Foundation's broader Food Access and Security Initiative, a $1,122,000 investment designed to enhance the emergency food system in Cambridge through collaborations with seven local nonprofits. The grants, predominantly three-year commitments, aim to bolster sector communication, facilitate program sustainability and expansion, and contribute to capacity building within the community.
