By Car From The Massachusetts Turnpike (a.k.a Interstate 90, Mass Pike):
Exit 18 (Cambridge) off THE PIKE
Bear RIGHT off ramp toward Cambridge. (You'll see the Double Tree Hotel ahead)
Go through 2 sets of lights and over the bridge.
Go straight through 3rd set of lights (crossing MEMORIAL DRIVE)
This is RIVER STREET. Follow this through 3 sets of lights to CENTRAL SQUARE.
Take a left turn at the fourth set of lights (MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE, towards HARVARD SQUARE).
Stay on MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE through PORTER SQUARE, then look for DAY STREET on your RIGHT. (Pemberton Garden Shop is immediately before DAY STREET. White Hen convenience store is on the corner.)
Take a right on DAY STREET, follow to parking lot on your RIGHT. (THE MARKET is in the lot located at the corner of DAY & HERBERT Streets.)
By Car From Route 2:
Follow ROUTE 2 East into Arlington.
As you begin to see signs for ALEWIFE STATION, get in LANE lane and bear LEFT toward ARLINGTON. This is ALEWIFE BROOK PARKWAY.
Get in RIGHT lane as you approach first set of lights; turn right on MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE.
Follow MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE looking for WHITE HEN PANTRY on your LEFT. The White Hen is on the corner of DAY STREET. Be prepared to make a U-turn on MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE to get to it.
Take a right on DAY STREET, then RIGHT onto HERBERT STREET. Take the immediate RIGHT into the parking lot.
