2026 MFM VEndor Onboarding Checklist
Congratulations on your initial acceptance into one or more of our farmers markets for the 2026 market season.
In order to secure your participation, please read through and complete the required actions below.
Due: March 2, 2026 (returning vendors); March 9, 2026 (new vendors)
Step 1: Review, initial & sign your 2026 MFM Market Commitment Letter
The document will be emailed to you for electronic signature. It can also be found in your Marketspread vendor dashboard > Documents
Step 2: Pay your booth deposit / 1st installment, or pay in full to receive a discount
The amount is listed on page 1 of your 2026 MFM Market Commitment Letter.
Pay online at bit.ly/2026payment with PayPal or a credit/debit card to immediately secure your market booth(s).
Pay by check: Make the check payable to: Mass Farmers Markets and mail to: 200 Friberg Pkwy Ste 3000B, Westborough, MA 01581. Please note that if you pay by check, MFM must receive your check by the due date above. Make sure to allow enough time for your check to arrive.
*Note: If we do not receive your payment and signed commitment letter by the due date, you risk losing your offered space or the ability to attend the 2026 season altogether, and other applicants will be considered for your space.

Item 1: Certificate of Liability Coverage Insurance
Mass Farmers Markets must be added as an additional insured and a certificate holder to your general comprehensive liability policy. The policy must provide a minimum of $1 million / occurrence and $2 million aggregate in coverage.

Item 2: High resolution business logo
Your logo allows us to help promote your business in our marketing and social media channels.
Item 3: Food Establishment / Health Permit (if applicable)
This is required if you are planning to sell any processed foods (baked goods, jams, meats, cheeses etc.) or cut fruits and vegetables. If you have already submitted this during the application, you do not need to resubmit.
Item 4: Food Protection Manager Certificates - ServSafe or similar (if applicable)
This is required for any staff who will be serving samples or ready-to-eat foods at the market.

Complete the City of Boston Farmers Market Vendor Profile Form
Form: Complete the form at bit.ly/bostonpermit and include any required documents.
Fee: Include a $100 check made out to the City of Boston.Boston Inspectional Services Department (ISD) charges each vendor a $100 health fee per market. *Exemption: No fee for vendors who are only selling local, farm fresh produce, honey, and/or maple syrup; vendor form is still required.
To submit: 1) Upload a scanned copy of the completed form to Marketspread > Documents, then 2)mail the printed vendor form, required documents and a check to: Mass Farmers Markets, 200 Friberg Pkwy Ste 3000B, Westborough, MA 01581. Make sure to allow enough time for mail delivery.
*Note: If you will be vending at the Copley Square farmers market and the Fish & Farm market, please include both markets on the vendor form, and send a $200 check.
*Note: If you have already submitted this form in 2026 for another Boston farmers market, you can avoid completing another form by emailing Tracy Seneschal at Inspectional Services: tracy.seneschal@boston.gov. A $100/$200 check is still required and must be mailed to Mass Farmers Markets.

Apply for the City of Cambridge Farmers Market Permit
Go to bit.ly/cambridgepermit. Application fee is $25. *Exemption: No fee for vendors who are only selling local, farm fresh produce, honey, and/or maple syrup; application is still required.
