Located in Cambridge’s Central Square, this market features 20+ Massachusetts farmers and food producers selling produce, meat, baked goods, ready-to-eat meals, and other local products. See down below for the 2026 vendor list!

  • SNAP / SNAP Match tokens (issued by Market)

  • Senior and WIC Coupons

Receive market alerts:

The market takes cash, credit/debit, WIC/Senior coupons, and EBT. There’s a weekly $15 SNAP Match. SNAP users also get HIP benefits: spend the required monthly amount on fruits and vegetables at participating vendors (usually $40, $60, or $80, by household size) and the money is returned to your EBT card. All SNAP users are automatically enrolled. Ask the market manager’s booth for details.

The Central Square Farmers Market is a Mass Farmers Market managed market. MFM is a non-profit organization that has been working to enhance farmers markets and support locally grown food for over forty years.

Power of Produce (POP) Program for Older Adults at Central Square Farmers Market

Cambridge, MA | August 3 - November 23, 2026

POP Club is a free program for adults ages 65+ that gives them the chance to explore the market, connect with vendors and community members, and learn more about supporting their nutrition with fresh, local food.

What is POP Club?

When you enroll in POP Club, you’ll receive $3 in POP Bucks every week to spend at the market on:

  • 🍎 Fresh fruits

  • 🥕 Vegetables

  • 🌱 Food-producing plants

Note: POP Bucks can’t be used for items like prepared foods, drinks, or flowers. Look for signs at vendor stands that accept POP Bucks.

How It Works

  • Enroll online or at the Market Manager’s Tent

  • Check in each week at the tent

  • Get $3 in POP Bucks each week

    • Participants can receive tokens for a total of 8 weeks, beginning on their first day of participation 

  • Spend or save POP Bucks throughout the season

Important: POP Bucks expire at the end of the season on November 23, 2026.
