Monday, August 3 | Central Square Farmers Market

๐Ÿฅ• PoP (Power of Produce) Club for Older Adults

The new PoP (Power of Produce) Club for adults ages 65+ launches at Central Square Farmers Market! Participants can receive fresh produce tokens and enjoy activities like today's tabling from the Cambridge Department of Public Health, which will be sharing resources on balanced, healthy eating. Stop by the Market Manager's tent to learn more and pick up your tokens.

๐ŸŽต Live Music with Joe Pete Jams

Enjoy an afternoon of roots-oriented rock 'n' roll from 2โ€“4 p.m. while you shop for fresh local food.

Tuesday, August 4 | Copley Square Farmers Market

๐Ÿ’ง Fill. Drink. Repeat.

The Boston Water & Sewer Commission's interactive water truck will be at the market offering free water bottle refills while promoting reusable bottles and reducing single-use plastics. Bring your reusable bottle and fill up!

๐Ÿฅ• SNAP Outreach

Representatives from the YMCA will be available to answer questions about SNAP and other nutrition benefit programs and help shoppers learn about available resources.

Wednesday, August 5 | Davis Square Farmers Market

๐Ÿ… Youth Grown Tomato Contest

Young gardeners are invited to bring their best homegrown tomato by 3 p.m. for our annual tasting competition. Local judges will crown this year's best tomato, so bring your ripest and tastiest entry!

๐ŸŒฑ PoP Club Activity Day Rescheduled

Our PoP Club Activity Day has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 12, and it's going to be worth the wait! Kids and families can:

  • Learn to mill their own flour with Unrefined Foods.

  • Make their own pickles with Kraut Mob while learning about fermentation.

  • Stop by the PoP Club tent for a special surprise hands-on activity just for kidsโ€”we're keeping this one a secret for now! ๐ŸŒฑ

Don't miss one of our signature National Farmers Market Week events! Watch local chefs compete in a live seafood cook-off featuring fresh Massachusetts seafood in partnership with the Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance. Learn about local fisheries while watching creative recipes come to life.

Student musicians from Berklee College of Music will perform from 11 a.m.โ€“12:30 p.m., providing the perfect soundtrack while you shop along the historic Boston Fish Pier.
